The club

The Football Academy collaborates with the Spanish football club F.C. Mallorca Toppfotball, which plays in Segunda División (Level 2 in Spain).

It gives students an optimal and professional everyday training and match environment and they have the opportunity to combine the academy with Spanish top football. This means that they collectively receive a developing football training and a professional practice in being full time-based abroad.

The goal of F.C. Mallorca Toppfotball is to allow our students to match the Spanish league. Spanish league games create unique soccer experiences, and are an exclusive offer with a large X factor. This arena will provide many development opportunities and memorable experiences on the football pitch.

The match environment in the Spanish league gives compulsory matches and international experience against Spanish teams and single players. It is evolving to experience co-players, opponents and judges with a different football culture than in Norway. It is also a great way to integrate into Spanish society, language and culture.

The club was founded in 2016 and set up A-teams for women in the Spanish series system in the 2016/2017 season and the 2017/2018 season. The teams consisted of Norwegian students and local Spanish players from the north of Mallorca. The club is on its way up - and is about to create something unique for women's players. The club got promoted up to level 2 in Spain in 2018, which is the top football and national league in Spain. One of the club's opponents in 2018/2019 will thus name F.C. Barcelona (B).

The club team on the women's side has had a fantastic journey! The success allows Mallorca Toppfotball to offer its students a fantastic campaigning. Pupils are given high level international matching throughout Spain throughout the Spanish league system.

In 2018/2019 the club also puts B-teams on the women's side, starting with both youth groups and children's football for local Spanish football girls.
