Introduction
Mallorca Toppfotball B will mainly consist of local Spanish girls between 13 and 19 years old. It will also act as a match arena for the Norwegian girls who do not play A match. With two teams we can offer two good player development arenas, based on the level at which you are based.
The team will play in the regional series in Majorca and are mainly for local players from Alcùdia, or from the region on the north side of the island.
Philosophy
In Spain it is common for girls to play on the boys team until they are 15 years old. F.C Mallorca Toppfotball goes new ways, becoming the first team in Mallorca to offer a clean girls team from 13 year olds! It has been noticed on the island, and is currently unique.
We want girls to be offered to play with girls from 12-13 years, so we have created this offer.
We want to take responsibility for local Spanish players in Alcudia, since the football school is located in this small town in Majorca. Alcudia is one of the most popular resorts for Norwegians and others from Scandinavia, but without the summer months, Alcudia is a small small town.
It is important for us to create great local interest in Alcudia, for our major efforts against the Spanish top division. It gives us the crowd at home games, great commitment to the stand and we give something back to the community in Alcudia. It's about creating something big in Spain for our students, and it's important to think both short-term and long-term in terms of player logistics.
Objectives
- Invite local Spanish girls to train and compete with other girls
- Recruit local girls to the A team
- Create local interest in women's football
