Our Women's team have their season opener against Son Sardina AT D.S.S. in late October. See also the rest of the fixtures at the end of the article.
23rd of October 2016 a milestone will be set for Mallorca Toppfotball. That is the date when we play our first official match with our women's team and that will be at home.
We hope to get a great athmosphere and a great tournout at the stands at Alcudia Stadium and hope as many of those living in Alcudia and the region will be heading to the stadium this Sunday.
On the opposite half of the field, Son Sardina AT D.S.S. will be standing. A team that ended in 7th place in the division last season.
Promoted before the season
This week we also received the pleasant message that our women's team has been moved up a division by the Spanish Football Federation. This means that we will play in Liga Feminina Autonomic next season. This includes flights and away games on Ibiza and Menorca, and not least a higher level and unique experiences on level three in Spain.
Collerense
Among other things, it becomes tough encounters against Collerense B. Collerense is a club in Palma which last year had three teams in the league system, but all their teams got relegated.
Collerense A was in the Spanish top-flight last year, while Collerense B was in the 1st division. Collerense C for its part played in our division, but has now been replaced by Collerense B.
The games against Collerese B will offer great challenges the coming season.
First flight
Already in our first away game (October 30th) we will be flying to another island. We will meet AT. Jesus (ended second to last in the division last season). A team that is located in Ibiza.
Also at our second away game we need to fly. We then travel to Menorca to meet CF Sporting de Mahon (ended in 4th place in the division last season).
